Henrike Thomsen graduated from Berlin Institute of Technology in 2004 where she
got a diploma-degree in aeronautical engineering. In her master thesis she
programmed an algorithm for image processing for the use in velocity measurements
of fluids (particle image velocimetry). The work has been done in cooperation with
the Aeronautical Department of the University of Washington, Seattle, USA. In 2005
she joined EUROS GmbH where she worked until end of 2007 in the field of aerodynamic
design, load calculation and programming of wind turbine control algorithms.
Ms Thomsen is one of co-founders of WINDnovation. She is also the Senior Engineer
for Load Calculations and Systems Design.
