After having received a degree as an electronic technician, Gregor Gimpl studied Renewable Energy Technologies
at the Berlin University of Applied Sciences. During his master thesis he developed a device for laser-optical
measurement of rotor blades for wind turbines. In 2008 he finished his studies at the Berlin Helmholtz Center for
Materials and Energy and started to work for an engineering company in the field of renewable energy. In November
2009 he joined WINDnovation where is working as an engineer for structural design of rotor blades.
