Felix Hummel graduated early 2010 at the Technical University of Cottbus with a diploma in mechanical engineering.
At the blade manufacturer AREVA Blades GmbH in Stade he completed his diploma thesis entitled "Calculation and
evaluation of rotor blade connections of a WEC." After completion of the diploma thesis, he worked with
AREVA Blades GmbH (Stade, Germany) in the field of materials and rotor blade testing and with AREVA Wind GmbH
(Bremerhaven, Germany) in the load calculation department. In October 2011 he joined WINDnovation as a structural
designer of rotor blades.
