Boris Gieseler graduated from the Berlin Institute of Technology in 2003 with a diploma in mechanical engineering. There he started his working life as a teaching and research assistent at the chair of engineering design. As a research assistent he specialized in the modelling of elastomeric structures with FEM, as a teaching assistent he was responsible for the courses in design and power train engineering. In 2008 he decided to work as an calculation engineer at the MAN Turbo & Diesel SE where he was doing the main draft for gear compressors. In August 2011 he joined WINDnovation and is now working on the structural design and fatigue design of wind turbine components.
