Before the design work is started, the engineers of WINDnovation will first
of all listen to their customers to clearly identify their needs. A face-to-face
meeting with all relevant people should give everybody a clear understanding of the
status of the planned project and the experience and the background of the engineers
involved. Based on this, the general expectations on both sides and the goals of the
cooperation with WINDnovation will be understood clearly and the engineering steps to
achieve these goals will be defined.
WINDnovation knows that time is one of the key factors to success. So WINDnovation
tries to adapt each project schedule to its customer's expectations. On the other
hand, WINDnovation also sees a clear responsibility to advise its customers correctly
in order to have a successful project. WINDnovation does not just take the job and comes
back after a certain time with a solution but wants to have on-going discussions with its
customers to constantly improve the solutions to be worked on and to be able to react
flexible to the changing needs of the world markets. WINDnovation feels that this
interaction with the customers is one of the essentials to be successful in one of the
fasted expanding and changing industries worldwide.
In order to keep up with the changes and new achievement in material research,
WINDnovation operated a laboratory for material evaluation and to develop adapted
process technology. In this laboratory, vacuum infusion samples can be made side-by-side
with standard lamination samples of new materials. This laboratory is also suitable to give
newcomers to the world of reinforced plastics a first close insight and to let them
practically work with the materials and procedures that will be used later for rotor blade
manufacture on a large scale.
